About AI Senior Manager

A consulting firm built around a simple insight: AI can't improve what isn't being measured.

We're not a tech company. We're operators who use AI to deliver workforce intelligence, and we've spent enough time inside mid-market businesses to know that the foundation has to come first.

Our story

Why we started this.

We kept watching the same thing happen. A mid-market company buys an AI platform, expectations high. Six months in, the platform sits unused. The team writes it off as another tool that didn't deliver. Leadership moves on. The next AI conversation starts with skepticism, not curiosity.

Every time we looked at the root cause, the answer was the same, and it wasn't the AI. It was the data underneath it. Workforce tracking was fragmented across three systems. Productivity was measured by anecdote. Attendance lived in a payroll export nobody opened. The AI tool had nothing real to work with, so it produced nothing real.

Data before decisions. Decisions before AI. That's the sequence, and it's the order most companies skip. Our operating principle

AI Senior Manager exists to install that sequence. We work hands-on with operations and leadership teams to put the tracking foundation in place, automate the management reporting on top of it, and then — only then — layer in the AI capabilities that actually improve how the business runs. It's less glamorous than "we'll transform your company with AI." It's also the version that works.

We're practical operators. We're direct. We don't sell hype. The companies we work with are the ones that already know intuition isn't going to scale and are ready to put structure underneath the decisions they're already making.

How we work

Four principles we hold to.

  • i.

    We simplify before we automate.

If a process is broken, automation just speeds up the break. We clean up the operational picture first, then layer technology on top of it.

  • ii.

Data before decisions. Decisions before AI.

The sequence matters. Skip a step and the downstream investment fails. We hold the order even when it's tempting to jump ahead.

  • iii.

    We deliver results, not decks.

A consulting deck every eight weeks isn't the goal. The goal is reports leadership actually reads and decisions that get made faster.

  • iv.

If it isn't the right fit, we'll tell you.

Some engagements aren't right for us, and some prospects aren't right for what we do. We're direct about both. Trust survives that conversation.
